Hello, good afternoon everyone!
Today I will talk about Chuseok in Korea.

Chuseok is one of the biggest national holidays in Korea. This day is the Korean version of Thanksgiving Day. Also, we called "Hangawi." "Han" means great or large, and "Gawi" means "middle."

So, Chuseok is in the middle of the lunar month of August.

Now let me introduce ceremonies, the staple dish, and the traditional game of Chuseok.

First, The ceremonies is that people perform ancestral worship rituals early in the morning. And then they visit ancestors tombs, to trim plants and clean the area around the tomb. After that, offer food, drink, and crops to their ancestors.

Second, the most famous staple Chuseok dish is Songpyeon. Traditionally, on the night before Chuseok, all family members sat around and made songpyeon. It is believed that women who can shape the pretty half moon will marry good men, an old belief which encourages them to make Songpyeon.

Finally, During Chuseok, famous fun games with music is that so nori (bull fighting), geobuknori (turtle play), ganggangsullae (a country circle dance), and ssireum (Korean wrestling)

In conclusion, Chuseok is the Korean version of Thanksgiving day. This day is people visit ancestral hometowns, give thanks to their ancestors for the good harvest. Also, share traditional food, Songpyeon and playing games with music. That´s all.
